Hey there TAGers, just a reminder that there will be a CLIMBING CONTEST going on during the TAG Fall Cave In with some sweet prizes up for grabs. Keep doing your squats and come ready for speed!

There will also be a ROPES COURSE set up for practicing some of those rope maneuvers that are not seen every trip. It will be open on Friday from 2pm to 6pm and Saturday from 9am to 1pm. See you on the mountain!

Rock and roll for your face holes. Mind melting. We have the best lineup of Neanderthal musicians to ever do the damn thing.

Calling ALL photographers!!!!

The Friday entertainment at the 2019 TAG Fall Cave-In will be a slideshow presentation.  We are looking for photos of TAG caves.

Please send your photo offerings in a large file size to the TAG Fall Cave-In Chairperson at cavein@dogwoodcitygrotto.org by July 31, 2019.

We will be constructing the BIG Saturday bonfire and also build the Friday night fire for the TAG Fall Cave-In, perform campsite cleanups, and many other projects, Chainsaws are needed (along with proper safety equipment such as chaps and eye protection); also weed eaters & loppers for clearing campsites and common areas. As always, camping will be available and WORKERS will be fed (thanks to our wonderful work weekend food crew). Volunteers will also receive a super duper TAG Fall Cave in Gift.  Hope to see everyone there! 

While not required, RSVP through the event page on our website is encouraged to help us best plan for food.

She’s back for round two! After doing a fantastic job last year, Tamara LeSage has been appointed as the 2019 TAG Fall Cave In Chair at the recommendation of the Cave In Advisory Board. Tamara has been around the TAG Fall Cave In for many years and puts a lot into the event in various ways. We are looking forward to see how she will top last year's event!

The TAG Fall Cave In is an annual event hosted by the Dogwood City Grotto. It is held Columbus Day weekend on Lookout Mountain. The annual attendance has been over 1,000 folks from across the world in the past few years. The proceeds from the TAG Fall Cave In are given back to our caving community in the form of grants. In 2018, $6,000 were given to various requestors to finance a variety of caving related projects.
