The Dogwood City Grotto will be hosting the 2020 Southeastern Regional Association (SERA) of the National Speleological Society's Winter Business Meeting in Lafayette, Georgia. This meeting is open to all cavers in the Southeastern Region. More about SERA.
The business meeting will kick off in the morning and last into the afternoon. Lunch will be on your own. There are a few options nearby in town.
As part of the meeting, the recreants of the 2020 SERA Awards will be chosen. More information about the SERA Awards.
A map salon and photo salon will also be also be happening during the event. Please reach out to Brent Aulenbach for more information about the map salon and Don Hunter for more information about the photo salon.
A catered BBQ dinner will be provided for $20 for only those who register for the event.
Kyle Lassiter will be giving a presentation in the evening about the resurvey of Gourdneck Cave in Tennessee. The SERA Award winners will also be announced along with the winners of the map and photo salons.

Primitive camping will be available all weekend at nearby Cherokee Farms for no cost. Caving is abundant in the area, so trips will more than likely be going out on Sunday.
