Vertical - Gourdneck cave beginner vertical trip

This is a beginner vertical trip to Gourdneck cave meeting at Wendy's in Kimball at 10 am eastern time. Or 9 am central time.

The entrance is a 30' drop and after that it is mostly nice walking steam passage with plenty to see. The cave will be wet. Please be sure to wear synthetic clothing and not cotton. Extra layers should be packed in case you get cold. The hile to the cave is short and warm clothes should be worn before entering.

Please be sure to bring all the normal horizontal caving gear including sturdy boots, helmet, three sources of light, food, water and any necessary medication. 

You will also need your own vertical caving gear. A permit must be signed and will be sent out after you register.
