TAG Fall Cave-In Work Weekend #2

Help us get the TAG Fall Cave-In site ready for another great event! We’ll be tackling a variety of projects around the property to improve facilities, address maintenance issues, and prepare key areas for volunteers, vendors, and attendees. Whether you have construction experience, enjoy trail work, or just want to lend a hand, there’s plenty to do.

Be sure to bring bug spray, plenty of water, any equipment necessary. Meals will not be provided this weekend; however, lunch and dinner will be provided for the September work weekend.

Work will begin each day at 8:30 AM Central / 9:30 AM Eastern. Volunteers are welcome to camp on site on Friday and Saturday nights.

Projects include:

• Move pavilion 
  
• Road rut repair (shovels, heavy rakes and tamp rods needed)
• Exterior of Cloudroom Chalet cleaned
• Pressure wash decks (one will be provided but if you have one to bring, please do)
• Chalet interior: mold remediation (N95 masks and gloves will be provided)
• Chalet carpet cleaning (carpet cleaner and supplies will be provided)
• Hauling furniture to dump
• Complete new decking

Helpful tools and equipment:

• Carpentry tools (battery-powered preferred)
• Drills, saws, and other woodworking equipment
• Chainsaws and loppers (with proper safety gear)
• Weed eaters and landscaping tools
• Shovels, post-hole diggers, and levels
• Work gloves and personal protective equipment

Volunteers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend. Even if you can only help with cleanup or organization, your time makes a huge difference. Come spend the weekend with fellow cavers and help make this year’s Fall Cave-In a success!
